Ryanodex is used for managing the severe hypermetabolism of skeletal muscle associated with malignant hyperthermia crises in patients of all ages. It is also used preoperatively and, in some cases, postoperatively to prevent or reduce the onset of clinical and laboratory signs of malignant hyperthermia.
