Individual box of 50 unit doses of Practi-Pred oral medication. Wallcur's Practi-Pred is a medium sized, round, bisect, peach tablet simulating Prednisone - an adrenal corticosteroid. In addition to dosage calculation, tablet splitting, and aseptic handling skills, you may also teach students about the therapeutic and adverse effects of short and long term use. Teach students to monitor baseline B/P, I&O weight and sleep patterns, asses blood glucose and serum electrolytes, and to look for masked symptoms of infection.
